On 16 February 2010 the M4 Motorway toll will be removed. Road works, including an overnight road closure on 15 February, will be in place and there will be a reduced speed limit while lanes are reconfigured.

New child restraint laws for children up to seven years of age come into force on 1 March 2010.

The RTA will donate $15 to the McGrath Foundation from each set of customised pink plates and $50 from each set of handmade hot pink prestige plates sold until 30 June 2010
