Improving bus travel on strategic bus corridors serving Castle Hill

The RTA has completed a series of bus priority treatments in Windsor Road and in Church Street to improve bus services connecting Castle Hill with Parramatta and the Sydney CBD.

The treatments are part of a NSW Government initiative that is developing a network of 43 strategic bus corridors across the Sydney metropolitan area.

Bus priority measures are being installed at key points on the corridors to help provide more reliable and efficient bus services.

Preliminary surveys indicate that the Northmead-North Parramatta bus priority treatments are helping bus operators keep to schedule in the morning and evening traffic peaks.
