The $1.1 million facility will benefit the local community, with this new, modern registry able to serve more customers more comfortably.

It is bigger, better designed, more modern and more comfortable than the old Blacktown Motor Registry it replaces.

It incorporates the latest design features such as dedicated zones for driver testing, knowledge testing and counter transactions as well as a multi-media section.

The new registry offers the full range of RTA services from 16 RTA transaction and six knowledge test counters.

Not only will the new registry be better for customers, but it will be a safe and comfortable workplace for the 25 RTA staff serving them.

The new registry has the ability to deliver more driver tests than any other registry by virtue of its 8 driver testing counters and 17 driver test parking spots. 

Its multi-media section is a first for any RTA motor registry and will provide interested customers with a wide range of information about RTA services and projects while they wait to be served.

The multi-media section is an information wall – with posters, brochures, number plate displays and an LCD screen playing informational DVDs.

The new RTA Motor Registry is located in the Blacktown Mega Centre, corner of Blacktown Road and St Martins Crescent.

It is open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to noon on Saturdays.
