From 18 May 2009, Mobility Parking Scheme applicants will also have their medical fitness to drive assessed if the RTA has not been notified of any medical condition on their licences. New licence applicants and existing licence holders who already have a Mobility Parking Scheme card may also be asked to provide a medical report regarding their fitness to drive at their next licence applocation if the RTA has not been notified of any medical condition on their licence.
