Equipment and maintenance upgrades will be progressively undertaken in the Epping tunnels overnight for the remainder of the year.
Contra flow arrangements will be in place Sunday to Thursday evenings from 9pm until 5am each of those days.
Southbound - Cahill Expressway closed Monday night. Motorists are advised to detour via York Street or the Sydney Harbour Tunnel.
Northbound - Lanes will be closed in stages on Cahill Expressway and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
